RTI work was completed at Emery Down graveyard for the New Forest Park Authority, as part of their Our Past, Our Future project which is supported by Heritage Lottery Funding. Monuments mark the final resting place of people whatever their origins and status. Their materials, design, craftsmanship and inscriptions provide a rich and irreplaceable repository of information that connects us with previous generations and their history. They continue to be objects of respect, but many monuments can also be neglected

Due to the general decay, many of the gravestones were hard to read. RTI was invaluable in bringing out the detail and all of the text is now legible.
